Thank you.
Thank you for your commitment to the Trunk or Treat outreach event. There were many moving parts and for that, we are grateful that you stayed to help:
Our prayer warriors who covered us in prayer, made themselves available to pray with individuals and to receive handwritten prayer requests. Those requests have been pinned to the small bulletin board in the Fireside Room. Please read over them and pray for those requests.
The TLP men helped put out the tables, games, and supplies - and put them away! They also provided security during the service and monitored the entry point.
The Youth Praise Team blessed us with their ministry of music and led us in a fun time of sharing jokes and line dancing.
The "trunkers" decorated their cars and passed out treats to our guests.
The game leaders took charge of an activity and made it a fun experience for the kids and their families.
The food crew kept the concessions going.
The welcome crew passed out goodie bags and warmly greeted the public.
The CAMEO ladies prepared the candy buckets, signs, goodie bags, and game supplies.
Major Gwyn gathered the sound equipment, prepared the popcorn machine, and purchased supplies needed for the day.
Major Willdonna took the lead in organizing and communicating with volunteers.
The Good News was shared and the love was felt in the place. Our participants are already looking forward to next year with additional ideas to make it even bigger and better. Seeds have been planted. One will never know how that will be watered and developed over time.
God was glorified.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16, NIV
God bless you.
